American Bone Health provides education, resources, and tools to help you understand bone disease and bone health.
Whether you are newly diagnosed with osteoporosis, looking for testing, in a treatment program or interested in ways to prevent bone loss, American Bone Health has a wealth of information to help you.
We use insights from our research organization, the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education (FORE), to stay abreast of the latest technologies and treatments. FORE focuses on research and professional education. We at American Bone Health focus on supporting you and your community. In addition to education and tools, we also provide opportunities for you to get involved to spread the word about bone health and osteoporosis prevention.
We realize you’re on the front lines and we promise to be there with you every step of the way. Educating and supporting communities and families like yours is our priority.
Join us as we spread the word about healthy bones one community at a time.
We envision a time when no person suffers because of osteoporosis.
American Bone Health is the most effective resource for communities to end the suffering associated with osteoporosis. We promote independence, mobility and quality of life by preventing fractures along all stages of life. We see healthy children growing up with bones strong enough to carry them through a healthy, vibrant lifetime. These children, their parents and their health care providers will know what to do to build and keep strong bones.
The mission of American Bone Health is to mobilize communities with timely bone health information that supports strong and healthy bones and prevents osteoporosis and fractures. Established by the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education (FORE) as a community-based, chapter-driven, health organization, American Bone Health builds capacity for local community outreach through technical support, programs and public awareness campaigns. We engage public advocates for osteoporosis prevention, detection and treatment. We invite you to find out more about us from Guidestar.
See our progress over the years!
