Fall Prevention Center Opens

The Alameda County Medical Center is hosting the grand opening of the Fall Preventio Center on Febraury 26, 2010 from 1:30 -4:00 PM.

The Fall Prevention Center is a service developed by the Trauma Department in cooperation with Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, the Geriatric Department and the Senior Injury Prevention Partnership. American Bone Health has been a partner with the Senior Injury Prevention Partnership since its founding in 2000.

This comprehensive on-site service will include:

♦ Assessments

♦ Screenings

♦ Referrals

♦ Fall Prevention Education

♦ Resources and Information designed to reduce Falls in the SPA (Sixty-Plus Adult) generation.
