90% of Americans Consume Too Much Salt

According to a report today from the CDC, 90% of Americans consume more salt than recomended for daily consumption. 

The researchers analyzed surveys from nearly 4000 adults. Among those survey who are on a recommedned strict low sodium diet of 1500 mg/day (e.g. people with high blood pressure, adults over 40 and Africian Americans) on 5.5% were meeting the target. Of the others surveyed, only 18.8% met
